These are my favourite shots from behind the scenes at the latest Glassons campaign shoot.

Teresa Oman. All Photos/Luke Byrne.

I got shown these shots a couple of days ago. They’re behind the scenes photos from the latest Glassons campaign shoot, ‘Escape’ by Tim Barber. I don’t know if you’ve seen any of the results of the shoot, but of all the photos they’ve produced since they took on Adam Bryce as Creative Director (and really started cranking the benefits of using uber-stylist Zara Mirkin), these behind the scenes ones from Winter 2013 are my favourite.

My like for them is largely due to the fact that they’ve used two of who I would consider the three most well known short antipodean models (the third being New Zealand’s Zippora Seven) – Anja Konstantinova and Teresa Oman. The location ain’t too bad either – these were taken in various places around the South Island, including Queenstown and Wanaka. Check ‘em out:

At the risk of sounding repetitive, here are some more photos from that Dungaree shoot.

All Images/James K Lowe, onofield.com

At the risk of sounding repetitive and boring, I bring to you a few b-roll shots from The Dungaree Club shoot we did a couple of weeks back. James needed to finish a roll of film so he took a few extra shots on his r6.2. The results are quite beautiful. These are some of my favourites, and there are more of his favourites on his blog here.

RUBY’s ‘An Education’ capsule collection drops this Friday. Here’s what it looks like.

All Images/Evan Tetreault for RUBY.

Remember when that guy Evan Tetreault was in town a couple of months ago?

Yeah, well, fricken go back and read the post already then. He was here, all the way from Boston where he’s based right now. While he was here he shot a little lookbook and campaign for RUBY‘s latest 60s inspired capsule collection, ‘An Education’. I got to pop along, partly because I was Evan’s ride there, and partly because hello, of course I wanted to see the range. It is really, really cute. Drawstring printed pants, cute dresses – I’m feeling the one above (also in black, below) for some kind of party – it’s definitely a party dress, tops with sleeve ruffles, it’s all good.

So, this range. If you want to check it out, it’s going to be dropping in to RUBY stores this Friday 15th March. If you want to check it out and do a bit of a purchase, the first 200 customers to snap a piece from this capsule range will receive a special ‘An Education’ goodie bag. I have no idea what’s in it but I’m feeling positive about it because I’ve heard it’s worth over $70. In related news, RUBY Designer Deanna Didovich will be in store at RUBY Newmarket on Friday from 12:00pm – 2:00pm to celebrate the release.

Below are lookbook shots of pretty much everything in the collection, and the campaign (both featuring Alyssa Hiyama), and a couple of extra behind the scenes photos – all taken by Evan of course. Happy viewing.

The Dungaree Club.

The Dungaree Club. L-R: Emma and Jennifer (Nova), Renee and Zara (Clyne). All Photos/James K Lowe.

There’s no denying that there’s a bit of an overall trend right now – longs, shorts, skirts, you name it, people are loving it. So, in celebration of this all-in-one trend, last week myself and a couple of others took to one of the local high schools surrounding my home with several pairs of dungarees in tow. We got some of the new kids on the block – four suitably Mean Girls-esque new face girls: Emma and Jennifer from Nova, Renee and Zara from Clyne, paired them up with some of the new season’s dungaree offerings and voila! The Dungaree Club was formed:

Karen Walker showed A/W 2013 ‘New Rose’ a week ago, I’m still obsessed.

All Backstage Images/Sonny Vandervelde.

I want to be a Karen Walker girl.

There you go. Unabashedly and without shame, I want to be one of these girls. I feel like this most seasons when I see the runway images from Karen’s New York Fashion Week shows, and this time is no different. In fact, this season – Northern Hemisphere Autumn-Winter 2013 – the desire to be that cool, long-haired, quirky-casual girl is at its peak.

I’m coveting a lot from this collection, ‘New Rose’ – the oversized trenches, dark green knits, black and white tartan and brown tweeds and the pink floral (is it floral?) everything – especially the quilted coat. The full-legged pants look amazing (perhaps not on a short girl like me, but on these girls – fantastic) and the sleeved knit dresses are just what I want for Winter. Mentally I’ve already narrowed it all down to a list of what pieces I’m going to save my pennies for. Let’s just hope it all comes available to us here in New Zealand…

Huffer A/W 2013: Uphill Battles.

All Images/Supplied.

I received these Huffer campaign shots in my inbox this morning. They’re the follow up to that video I posted last week. I haven’t seen the Autumn/Winter collection in person yet, but by the looks of things, it’s bound to be a goodie. Some of these shots are mind-blowing. I’m not allowed to disclose where exactly these were taken within New Zealand (*cough* South Island *cough*), but I can tell you that Ryan Kenny shot it, Zara Mirkin styled it and Ella Verberne, Callum Smith and Matt Hall took on the duty of models in the wilderness.

My favourites below. This collection starts dropping this week so keep an eye out:
