It’s that time of year again readers – February. February is when all the new season (Winter 2013) clothes start dropping in stores. You wouldn’t be wrong in thinking that it is pretty early in the year to be selling Winter clothes when every day this month so far has been sunshine and warm weather, but that’s just how it is guys.
So, instead of complaining about it, what do we do? We accept it and we start shopping. Or, for those who aren’t as financially secure as the rest, we start compiling shopping lists. And that’s where these posts come in to play.
Recently I popped into the Lonely Hearts workroom to see what they had in store for Winter. I found a few things I loved, so I had a bit of a try on and got a bit snap happy (well, I forced my brother into being snap happy). In the same vein as my Ruby Tuesday posts last year, here’s the first of five Lonely Hearts posts of new season things I tried on and liked.
First up and the thing I covet the most: the Lonely Hearts tees. The prints were designed by Two Hands Tattoo‘s Stefan Sinclair. They’re a bit grungier than I would usually go for, but upon trying on, I’ve decided I can totally do it. These literally just went into Area 51 stores over the weekend, and they’ll be available on the Lonely Hearts online store from tomorrow. My favourite? The basic tee with toxic print (I’m wearing the white below, but it also comes in grey marle and faded black/charcoal) (RRP NZ$99).
Long sleeve versions coming soon (RRP NZ$125), and raglan versions (not pictured, RRP NZ$120) are in stores now. Pants are also Lonely Hearts, but more on those next time!
