Went on a trip to the D Flat, took Twenty-Seven Names with me.

My good friend Sarah’s family home sits somewhere out of Auckland in Dairy Flat. I’ve known this the whole time I’ve known her, but only recently have I had the pleasure of visiting their amazing property. And when I say amazing, I mean amazing. I don’t think I know anyone with such lovely grounds. It’s like they live in some kind of movie. The gardens are manicured, there’s a pond with a jetty, large open green spaces of field and even sheep. There’s also a fantastic pool. It’s probably my favourite pool in Auckland (first equal with the rooftop pool at the Langham Hotel).

A couple of weekends ago I decided that it would be a nice place to take pictures, and so one sunny afternoon a few of us took a little road trip to what we affectionately have named, ‘The D Flat’, and I took some of my favourite pieces from the new Winter 2013 Twenty-Seven Names collection with me.

Here’s how it went down:

The shorts in the below shot also come in red and a dusky pink and they feel amazing. Trust me:

Yes, I am holding a cupcake.

THUG LIFE THO.

This collection just started dropping in stores and online this week, so if you’re thinking of getting your hands on any of it, now’s the time!

Note: There’s actually a whole lot more of the collection I wanted to shoot but I had to narrow it down because it was getting to be overkill – keep an eye out for the full lookbook, coming soon.

Big thanks to the Theobalds for their hospitality and putting up with us running around their garden!

PS: The lipstick I’m wearing is ‘Ronnie Red’ – a new one from MAC’s ‘Archie’s Girls’ collection which is in stores now.
