You can’t say anything bad about Moonrise Kingdom, really. People who have bad things to say about Moonrise Kingdom are pretty much dead inside. At the very least, it’s beautiful to look at. Secondly, it’s a film that will tug on the heartstrings of even the most staunch of characters. It’s just straight up charming. You can’t beat charm.

I saw this for the first time when it played in Silo Park afew weeks ago with my friend who raved about it. It was an absolute delight. The cinematography, the quirky characters, the casting, the adorable story of young love, the witty script. I could go on.
I agree with you that if anyone dislikes this film they are dead to me.
