It’s 2:15am and I’m seriously starting to fade but I have to bring you photos from the last show of Day 1 and one of the biggest of the week: Zambesi. The models, with wild brows, violet-purple lips and scraggly messy hair, were layered up in a riot of prints and texture that was the Winter 2012 collection. They marched down that catwalk with pace. Just how I like it (I do not like a dawdling walk) – walking with purpose. My favourite thing? The short pants. I can’t get over short pants with socks and shoes (as exampled above on Michael Whittaker from Clyne). It gives off that ‘overgrown school-kid’ vibe, which is exactly how I feel at fashion week most times. How incredibly apt.
(Speaking of school-kids, this one is fading. One more post and I’m off to bed.)

I’m with you about models that march. LIking the capelets and the vampy lip.
