NZFW: Things I’ve seen at Juliette Hogan.

Of all the shows I’ve seen today, Juliette Hogan has got to be one of my top three. It’s a given that it was going to be ‘nice’ and wearable – Juliette doesn’t make anything ‘offensive’ ever – but this was more than just that. Because I’m not exactly a fashion expert (there’s a difference between loving fashion and loving clothes), I can only base my love for a collection on whether I’d wear it or like to see someone else wearing it, or not. I have pretty traditional tastes, my brain can’t wrap itself around anything too out there, so Juliette’s collection was made for someone like me: pretty lace pieces, simple unfussy details, tailored shirts and pants in interesting fabrics. My favourite things? A cream shirt that buttons up the back, a sequiny singlet, a floral shirt with black contrast collar and placket, floral 7/8th suit pants and the chelsea boots with cream socks:
