New week, new things: The Meadowlark Love Cats Edition.

The Love Cats is the latest collection to hit from jewellery-extraordinaires, Meadowlark. As the name suggests, the range houses many pieces with cat themes (which I can guarantee will be popular as hell – especially the cat ears ring (pictured below)), as well as quirky peony pieces (including a pretty fricken amazing peony cocktail ring) and crossed nails charms that are dark and different enough for those who aren’t into cutesy. See some of the collection below, or for the whole shebang, see Meadowlark’s website here).

Because it’s the start of a new week and almost the start of a new month, I’ve teamed up with Meadowlark to give away a new week, new month, new things gift in the form of my favourite piece from the collection: the Cat Paw Pyramid ring (pictured on Cait above). I’m not so big on large, flashy cocktail rings so this one suits me just fine. The stone (there are 7 different ones to choose from, including a blue topaz, a pretty deep red thai garnet and a shiny onyx black enough to satisfy the most emo of jewellery-wearers) is big enough to catch your eye, but not ‘overpowering’ for lack of a better word. The setting is two cat paws – cute, yet subtle enough for this blogger:

As well as the ring, I’m also giving away a Meadowlark VIP card which entitles the winner to 15% off Meadowlark jewellery for life. Fo’ life man! Note: Each card is numbered and they’re limited, so the things aren’t easy to come across.
So I’m making this giveaway pretty easy. All you have to do to enter, is:
  1. Like” both the Meadowlark and Katherine is Awesome Facebook Pages, and
  2. Leave a comment on this post (using the email address you’d like to be contacted with if you win) indicating which stone you’d like your Cat Paw Pyramid ring to be made with (full list of stone options here).
The competition is open to anyone worldwide (so if you’re from somewhere other than New Zealand, no biggie! We’ll ship it to you!) from now until 9:00pm Sunday 5 August 2012. The winner will be chosen from valid entries at random and contacted via email so make sure the email address you comment with is valid, and that you know your ring size.
Happy Monday readers.
