How did you get into modelling and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been modelling since April. I sent my pictures to a few agencies, long story short, I signed with Clyne.
Favourite modelling job so far?
I did a shoot for Lutefisk with Jessica Sim and Dan Ahwa. That.
Dream modelling job?
When I was 13, my friend’s sister was in Canvas magazine nearly every weekend and I really, really wanted to be in it. I’ve already done it so I can retire now (laughs). But I guess I would have to say a Prada show.
Dream modelling destination?
New York.
What do you love about modelling, and what do you dislike about it?
I don’t understand how people can’t like things about modelling. Maybe it’s that I haven’t done it long enough to be jaded, but when you’ve worked at Lollipops Playland for $8/hr you really appreciate modelling as a job. Some things have taken getting used to (castings, etc), but there’s nothing I hate about it.
What about the rejection? The need to stay a certain size?
Rejection doesn’t phase me now. I don’t think about it – I got to castings and then forget about them and if I get the job it’s a bonus. I used to eat the most disgusting University food. Being healthier is good – I feel good about being good to my body.
What did you have for breakfast this morning?
Poached eggs on toast.
What were you doing at 9:15pm last night?
I was at my friend’s house. It was her flatmate’s birthday – we filled her room with 500 balloons.
What would you be doing if you weren’t modelling?
I’d be finishing my degree – a Bachelor of Fine Arts.

Fur. I don’t really mind if it’s second-hand though.
