Recently I was having a discussion with someone about girl crushes. You know what I’m talking about – girls that girls love, admire, are kind of attracted to, etc. We went through the typicals – Alexa Chung, Natalie Portman (personally, I love her in that film Where the Heart is and in that one scene in Closer where she says, “I don’t love you anymore. Goodbye.” - damn that gets me every time), Zooey Deschanel, Patti Smith. I settled on a combination of a few, including Portman, Audrey Tatou, Karlie Kloss and Ashley Smith, while they chose both Azealia Banks and some obscure-pianist-that-I-can’t-remember-the-name-of-because-I’m-pretty-sure-they-only-said-her-because-they-wanted-to-sound-clever-and-high-brow-and-mysterious-and-cool.
Anyway, this morning I came across this photograph of this girl by Rory van Millingen. I have no idea why it was taken, who she is, what it was taken for, or anything, but I do know I have a girl crush on her. Or at least on the way she’s dressed. Not many girls could wear this and pull it off. It’s definitely my jam.
Happy Friday readers.

Any chick who can rock a skateboard like that is mighty fine in my book!
