- Apparently I Love Ugly isn’t so ugly afterall. Last week I stopped by their renovated Eden Terrace store and was suitably impressed by the new fit-out. It’s completely modular, very clever (light up cabinets when you walk past) and best of all, it looks good. You can check it out all out for yourself. The store is located at 11 Mt Eden Road, Mt Eden, Auckland (the city end of Mt Eden Road).
- Speaking of I Love Ugly, check out their first watch. It’s been doing the rounds and I have to say it’s been pretty popular. It comes in two colours and retails at $115.00. Not bad. My favourite thing is the packaging, though. The packaging is damn good.
- Speaking of watches, what about this one? The watch strap is very Thom Browne, and I am quite partial to Thom Browne so of course I like it. It’s by South Lane, a Scandinavian brand specialising in simple, classic timepieces. The watches are €99.00, or if you just want the straps you can get them separately for €19.00. The best part about it, is they’re delivering free worldwide until the end of August. Girls who need boyfriend gifts? Take note.
