The above image sits as a billboard, just past the Mini Cooper shop, on the side of a brick building on the corner of Ponsonby and Richmond Roads. As a person who drives all over the CBD several times a week, I can safely say it is the best billboard I have seen this year. Or maybe the best billboard I have ever seen, ever. I smile literally every single time I drive past it. It’s engaging like no other advertisement I’ve seen in a very long time.
The rest of the images from this Stephen Marr campaign are fantastic too. Sam Crawford has done an excellent job. As have the models, in particular, 62 Models’ Alyssa Hiyama. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more beautiful, compelling photo of her than the one immediately below. I’ve had these photos in a folder on my desktop for about a month now, thinking – as with most images I ‘save for later’ – that I’d grow tired of them after a few looks and lose the want to share them. This is not the case.
