- This is going to be out of the price range of a lot of you. I don’t mean to be presumptuous, I’m just being real. In saying that, it’s too lovely not to share so if there are any of you out there with a spare NZ$5990.00 or so, I suggest you carefully consider this 1.5ct black diamond solitaire engagement ring. Okay, I hear what you’re thinking – black engagement ring? What?! Engagement?! What? Personally, I’d wear it as a normal ring. I’ve seen it twice in real life now, and I can say, as a person who isn’t too much into jewellery, I have considered the things I could sell in order to get my hands on one. - I haven’t got a picture because it doesn’t exist yet, which kind of makes it not a new thing this week, but I heard about it yesterday so it is new to me: Aotea Square (in Auckland, New Zealand, for those who aren’t from around here) is opening an outdoor ice-skating rink next month, for Winter. Does anyone even know how exciting this is?! It’s going to be $20 for adults (including skate hireage) and I’m pretty sure they are going to rake in the money. I hope they have fairy lights. Damn it is such good first date material – racing around on the ice, outside, in cute skating outfits? Can anyone say ro-man-tic?! Potential suitors: take note.

- A year and a bit ago I bought an A.P.C wallet which has and still serves me pretty well. In saying that, I still keep my eye out for when it goes kaput. This week I discovered this clutch/wallet by Acne and it’s high on my contender list for next wallet purchase. The thing has such good functionality (as evidenced in the image below). It does, however, cost US$320.00…

Thank you for introducing me to that amazing ring. I would wear it as a ‘normal’ ring also – if only my bank balance would let me! And if I had anyone in my life that even resembled a boyfriend I’d be dropping some serious hints right now.
Outdoor ice skating! Awesome. They damn well better have fairy lights. At the ice rink in Queenstown you can request a song (or as many as you like) when you arrive – which means every single time I got I request “I Don’t’ Wanna Miss a Thing’ and force my poor friends to reenact the scene from Blades of Glory with me. Yes I’m that cool.
