Yesterday I spent hours literally trawling the streets (well, more like one street – but it was a really long street) for some awesomely dressed people to take photos of. I don’t know if it was the weather (humid and kind of rainy at best) or where I was or just that it was an off day, but boy was it difficult. Especially, especially finding girls to take photos of. Boys? Not so hard. A lot of the older guys here rock that whole Ralph Lauren/Brooks Brothers kind of thing – navy blazers, cream chinos, striped shirts etc – and that stuff always looks great, but girls? So, so hard.
One cool looking person I saw was this guy (above) who works at the Levi’s store on Newbury Street. The double denim doesn’t even bother me, and you know what? It’s kind of refreshing not to see a guys ankles for a change.

This guy has a great look. I cannot handle the visible ankle with the sockless brogue-type shoe thing ever. I think it’s my age and aproximation to fashion (I am not super trendy). I can’t ever see a guy with those slightly short trousers, bare, hairy ankles, and leather brogue-type shoes without experiencing some internal revulsion (puke) and thinking how stinky their feet must be. Lol, judgemental beeitch I know. x
I’m impressed by his tool. The measuring tape thingy people! So, only people who work in retail have a clue in Boston?
