Yeah I’m in Paris but I’m not gonna lie – I’ve got some New York Fashion Week FOMO right now. After the high and rush and energy of New Zealand Fashion Week, it would have been pretty cool to do New York, but alas it cannot be. Maybe next time. Until then, here is the first reason I wish I was in the big apple right now: Rachel S/S presentation.
Okay, I know it’s a bit pre-emptive and silly to say that I knew I was going to love the collection before I’d even seen it, but I did (I tried to force Isaac to go along and send me to the minute updates from it but alas he would not) and I do. So there. The collection is everything you expect from Antonoff – wearable, preppy, cute clothes for girly girls. My favourite things? The red and white polka dot shorts because they remind me of Minnie Mouse and the white short-sleeve shirt with pocket (coincidentally, I’ve been looking for one of these recently – can anyone recommend where to buy?) As for that style of shirt? Best bet is a school uniform shop but if you’re looking to support a designer/label…*shrug shoulders*
Re: fashion westie – the shoes are Rachel Antonoff X Bass – google it, they’re pretty well priced. Pretty sure this is her third or fourth collection of shoes for them.
Ahhh its so cute, I’d wear it all…especially the red polka dot dress. Loving the collars and hells yeah those shoes are so good.
