Twenty-seven Names did something a little different to present their Winter 2012 collection to us today. Held at the Hopkinson-Cundy Gallery on Cross Street, the brand put on a little bit of an exhibition instead of your typical show. It was a breath of fresh air at 9:00pm tonight, after a solid 9 hours of catwalk. There were drinks a plenty (and delicious whoopie pies baked by none other than Jordan Rondel, aka. The Caker) so the whole thing turned out to be like a little bit of a party. The presentation consisted of photographs of key pieces in their collection on model (and model agency owner) Ngahuia Williams. It was very clever (see the images to know what I mean). Big ups to Guy Coombes, who shot all the artworks.
