It was a 20 minute car ride from the city to the horse auction ring in Randwick where Kate Sylvester’s off-site show was taking place. For some, the 20 minute car ride (or 30 minute bus ride) after a full day of shows might have seemed a bit too far to travel, but based on the huge crowd of people outside, it wasn’t too much for most.

The crowd sat around a circular stage (complete with circular catwalk), and viewed the show from their seats in the glass-topped amphitheatre. From what I’ve heard, it looked amazing. It would have been a lovely sight to see, but I spent the whole time in the hustle and bustle of backstage, taking some of the moodiest shots I’ve ever snapped in my life. See what I saw:
