I don't think I'm going to blog for a bit.

Life is weird at the moment, and on top of that, the horrible news of the Christchurch earthquake has really made me feel frivolous and kind of gross. And for me, it just feels wrong to write about how great my holiday is going or clothes I want to buy or other stupid stuff that really has no bearing on anything when all this stuff is going on. And it also feels just as wrong to write about the tragedy itself. So I think I’m going to take a little break from my usual posting and leave news up to everyone else for now.

My heart goes out to all those affected.

It's not Red Lobster, but it'll do.

You may remember back at the start of this trip that I really, really wanted to go to Red Lobster. It’s true. I mean, I know it would’ve been bad and probably disappointing, but I really wanted to go. There’s something about the kitch-tacky-ness of it all that was enticing. Anyhow, thus far a visit Red Lobster has not actually eventuated, but last night it was more than made up for at a trip to Ed’s Lobster Bar, a smaller and much more authentic lobster joint in Soho.

At least 3 New Zealand girls are going to London.

This morning I noticed that three New Zealand girls are part of the  VIVA F/W 11 London Women Show Package – Stella Maxwell, Jessica Clarke and Emily Baker. This means we have at least three very capable Kiwi’s doing the rounds in London (and beyond).

Good luck girls!

(PS. The VIVA show package also includes Australian’s Skye Stracke and Codie Young. Go antipodeans!)
