- Post-Australia/Fashion Week/Wellington-Depression. Back to reality, and back to ‘what am I doing with my life?’ crisis.
- Went to a boxing class yesterday. Combine this with the fact that I haven’t exercised in like, a year, and what do you get? Pain. Muscle pain. And the inability to travel down stairs.
- Isaac up and left for fricken Sydney today. I don’t want to be a jealous psycho, but that lucky b*stard!
- Room is a mess, the worst it has looked in 6 months. Can’t deal with it so continue to leave clothes on floor, which makes it worse. Never-ending cycle of doom.
- Two credit cards due on the same day next week. FML.
And what does this all have to do with anything? Nothing. But it serves as some kind of excuse for not blogging properly for the past few days.
Note to self: Complain less.

Sing it! Welcome to My-So-Called-Life at the moment…hence my Buy Nothing New October. Depressed cos my jeans don’t fit, my shorts don’t fit, my bank balance looks sick, so does my room…after trying to edit the wardrobe and see what I could share with someone else on Trade Me and just life in general. MAJOR BLAHS!!! Things HAVE to get better….right?
I think you should stop apologizing constantly for your lack of posting and just accept that you have a full-time job as a graphic designer and this leaves you in the position of a “sometimes blogger”.
It really just isn’t becoming of a young woman such as yourself.
Hope you feel better soon though
Re: Nick – This would all be well and good if I did have a full-time job as a graphic designer! (Long story.) But you are correct, I need to grow a pair.
since when did you get a CDG
Re: Jamesy – it’s Isaac’s mannnn. I don’t own anything cool.
Oh I’m sorry Katherine, I had no idea. I feel terrible now actually. So are you not working at the moment then? What happened?
Re: Nick – Hahahahaha! NOW who feels bad?! No, I’m kidding. Thanks for your kind words. Don’t feel terrible, it’s actually been pretty good considering. I’ve been freelancing and doing a few cool jobs around the place so high fives all round. I’d tell you the story except it’s probably not such a good idea via a comment form that the whole world wide web can see!
That sounds pretty cool actually! I suppose at least with freelancing it gives you a little more freedom to make the job work for you and not the other way around?
Thats how I have always found it anyway!
But yes I do see what you mean about the www, it can be a very unkind environment for misplaced words indeed.
On an entirely different note, I see Isaac’s name mentioned a fair bit on your blog and I cant help but wonder, are you two romantically involved? Or just brothers?
Sorry I have these tendencies to get invasive after 10pm haha
Re: Nick – Isaac and I are sisters! Twin sisters!
Oh wow, that can happen these days?
I am truly taken aback haha
Well I really do wish she and you the very best of luck, I have seen all too many ‘public’ sisterships implode within the NZ media/ fashion crowd over the last five years.
Kudos to you for being so covert K.
Goodluck with the freelance gig too, if you ever need any work to make ends meet just flick me an email, I can probably slide you a few layout gigs with the magazine.
Nick
Re: Nick – your email address is a fake! Email me your real one! (katherinelouise.lowe@gmail.com). Thanks for the kind words. It has been a fun comment-conversation.
Talk soon!
