Today was a super busy day at work. I never got to leave the office. I kept looking outside and wishing I could escape somewhere sunny and relaxed. Somewhere I could dress all carefree – light, loose layers and worn-in comfy without feeling like I had to bring some kind of cover up to keep warm. Somewhere I could put on a summery-outdoor-festival-type outfit, let down my hair and get a bit of a tan. Just like these girls.
(Isn’t that girl on the right (above) the babe of the century? Amazing.)
When I packed up for the day an hour ago, it was pitch black. I walked outside to my car and it was rainy and windy and cold.
Sigh.
It won’t always be so, Katherine! Just hang the hell in there. I keep telling myself this everyday. Ok, we sound like we’re living in freaking Siberia or something.
