Sighhh. Devendra Banhart is coming to Big Day Out. This poses a dilemma for me, as 1. I don’t really WANT to pay up and go to Big Day Out to see like, 3 of a possible 35 bands, and be surrounded by thousands of other weirdos and their rubbish all over the ground, wait 40 minutes to use the bathroom, pay $4 for a bottle of water etc etc, but 2. I do want to see Devendra.
This is also my dilemma. I have been sitting at work thinking the same thoughts. Every year Big Day Out does this to me and I have eventually caved. Who knows. We can pray for a sideshow or hope Santa is kind. That’s usually my final decision on these matters.
