Today has been a very weird day. I have been in a very weird mood. Last night I got to bed at 4am. I woke at 7.50am this morning with the feeling of pending doom. I couldn’t sleep. It was like I had just had 3 short blacks in a row and I was all wirey and weird. It has been an uncomfortable day.
I am telling you this because it has hindered my writing skills (not that I had many in the first place). I went to the Department Store today, and instead of writing a HILARIOUS post on what it was like as I had planned, I am going to skip it all together and just insert a photo essay (below) instead. Yes it is a cop out, but I honestly can’t even think properly.
Semi-comprehendable thoughts on The Department Store/My day today:
- Murray Bevan is one of the politest people I have ever met. Note to self – also think he may be a secret genius?
- I am a better photographer than I thought I was. I am actually kind of good. (MODEST ANYONE?)
- Weird view of this quasi-carpark from the tea room.
- Awesome spiral staircase and awesome red piano in window. And awesome spherical lights.
- Good shopping bags.
