Incase you didn’t know, Zooey Deschanel is my lesbian love crush. I love her and love She and Him, so you can imagine how excited I was when recently informed that she is the face of Oliver Peoples’ 2009 Campaign and has collaborated with the eyewear giant to create a ‘retro-styled frame’ that is, according to the website, ‘smart sassy and sophisticated’.
The pseudo-wayfarer style glasses feature a ‘one of a kind breath logo in the shape of [Zooey's] kissing lips’ (I have no idea what this means), offer a limited edition case and cloth, and come in 5 colours.
Despite this, I don’t think I love the frames enough to pay the US$415 price tag that accompanies them…

In saying that, the advertising campaign, incorporating a short film directed by Autumn De Wilde, ALMOST convinces me to bring my credit card out of hiding – watch it here

Just thinking…breath logo? Is that like when you breathe on it and it shows up like a watermark? In the shape of Zooey’s lips?
And why am I here? A google search and this popped up: weird.
